I took a road trip through the south of France recently. Provence in itself is absolutely breathtaking, but in spring the beautiful places are given another dimension. Unfortunately, spring isn’t the best season to capture the iconic lavender fields Provence is known for, but I’m glad there were plenty of flowers in bloom. Some of my favorite things to photograph are plants, especially flowers. On our road trip we made quite a few stops (for more details and photos of the places my friends and I visited check out my next post ) In this post you’ll see different flowers with different back drops. Places we visited include Marseille, Aix en Provence, Les Calanques, Cassis, Castellane, Parc Naturel Regional du Verdon, and a few small villages we passed along the way.
